The design reconfigured the internal layout of the new single residence with an additional floor beneath the footprint of the new house . A centralised and top lit stairwell offers a key point of focus around which a series of well proportioned living spaces are organised.
The excavation of a basement with a substantial natural lightwell to the rear provides further accommodation and spaces including a swimming pool complex, gym and wine cellar.
